IT24x7.net is a collection of day-to-day IT experiences. I work as a Senior Network Consultant in the DC Metropolitan area and have been working in the IT field since 1992. I deal with many different technologies every day, and as many of you know, there is always a lot of challenges in the IT environment.

I have all my IT notes, solutions, troubleshooting steps, and others saved everywhere in different computers. Some in text files, electronic post-its, web links, and others, even hard copies. I wanted to compile these in a central place, where I can go back and check them whenever I need to. Now, I share them with you.

I have divided the posts in two areas:

• How-To’s, where I give step by step instructions about how to configure, check or setup something, and,
• Knowledge Base, where you can find solutions to different issues I have been involved in the past.

I hope you find this information useful since all of them have been used at some point in real experiences.
